What if I don't know what I want yet? Can I come back to this again later?

Certainly, you have the flexibility to select a random story angle initially and make changes later if needed. However, it's important to keep in mind that once you have generated a story, it will count towards your allocated story generation limit (which is limited to 1 for Free users and 2 for Basic users). While you are free to explore and respond to prompts from various story types, we recommend making a well-considered choice before generating your story to ensure it aligns with your specific needs and objectives.

However, it's important to note that leaving multiple questions unanswered may have a significant impact on the quality of the generated story, as it relies on the information provided. If you find that you don't have the time to complete your prompts or need more time to gather the necessary information, don't worry. Alpha Story has you covered – your drafts are saved, allowing you to return at a later time to finish and refine your prompts when it's most convenient for you.

Can I even get good results even though I don’t share much details?

While it is possible to achieve results without sharing extensive details, it's important to bear in mind that the richness and depth of the generated story are directly influenced by the information provided. In essence, the story's content relies on the details you provide. Therefore, we recommend sharing as much relevant information as possible. The more comprehensive and specific your input, the more robust and compelling the resulting story content will be, aligning more closely with your desired outcomes. If you are worried about sharing sensitive information, you can also revisit and edit the information during the review process.

Can multiple companies fall under one account?

At present, we do not offer that feature. However, we are actively exploring options to implement it in the future. We encourage you to stay tuned for updates and announcements regarding any new features or enhancements to our platform.

How does the review process work?

Once you've submitted your question for review, you will receive an email confirmation acknowledging the successful submission. Subsequently, our team of Alpha Story consultants will commence the review of your story. The review process typically takes between 2-3 days to complete. Following the review, you will be promptly notified. If you have remaining review cycles, you will retain the ability to make further adjustments to your story. It's important to note that basic users are entitled to 2 rounds of review, while premium members enjoy the benefit of up to 4 rounds of review.

Can I make changes during the review process?

While your story is under review by Alpha Story, you will not have the ability to make real-time changes. Any suggestions or alterations you propose will be considered in the subsequent round of review. In the case of urgent changes, we recommend reaching out to us through our in-platform chatbox, where our team will assist you promptly to address your immediate needs.

How long does it take to be published?

Upon your approval, we will begin the publishing process immediately. Do we have a chance to look, and apply some changes before publishing?

Upon your approval, we will promptly initiate the publishing process. During our MVP stage, the publishing process will encompass the following key steps: Collating a curated media list comprising relevant media publications for your story. Leveraging our established journalist contacts to effectively pitch your story. Providing you with timely updates on any expressions of interest from media publications. This approach ensures a proactive and efficient dissemination of your story to the right audience.

How do you handle revisions?

Once we receive your approval to commence the publishing process, we kindly request that no further revisions to your current story be made. However, in the event of significant and time-sensitive alterations, you can promptly reach out to us through our customer service chatbot, Intercom. These significant changes include: Rectifying factual inaccuracies in your story. Addressing delays within the event or product launch timeline.

Are we given notice once the content is published?

When a media publication or journalist expresses interest in your story, our team will promptly notify you via email. In addition to this notification, we will equip you with the necessary resources to adequately prepare for your interactions with the journalist. Our goal is to ensure that you are well-prepared and confident when engaging with the media.

Can we request specific publication dates or schedules?

We are unable to request specific publication dates or schedules from media publications. The timing of the publication will be contingent on the individual news timelines and preferences of the interested media outlets. We will, however, do our utmost to coordinate with them to ensure your story is published at the most opportune moment.

What if my work email is not associated with a Google account? Can I still sign up using Google Authentication?

Regrettably, Google Authentication requires a Google account for sign-up. However, if you prefer to proceed with your work email, you do have the option to manually sign up using your work email address. We aim to accommodate your preferences and ensure a seamless registration process.

Pricing plan package. Are story generation credits monthly or yearly?

During our beta phase, story generation is allocated on a monthly basis for our members. For basic users, this means you will have access to 2 story generations per month. Additionally, your journalist outreach is also limited to 2 for basic members and 4 for premium members. Journalist outreach encompasses the compilation of a targeted media list for your story and the subsequent dissemination of your story to the media, facilitating the publication of your story in relevant outlets.

Is there a free trial available?

Yes, we are pleased to provide a free trial account to all users. During this trial period, you will have the opportunity to onboard your company details and generate a story of your choice. To progress beyond this stage, which includes review by our Alpha Story consultants and initiation of the publishing process to reach relevant journalists, we do require you to upgrade to either a Basic or Premium account. These upgraded accounts offer a more comprehensive suite of services and benefits to help you achieve your communication goals.

What happens if I forget to cancel the free trial before it ends? Will I be automatically charged?

We want to assure you that there is no need to cancel your free trial account, as there is no time limit associated with it. Furthermore, you will not incur any charges if you decide to continue as a free user or if you opt not to proceed with our services. We believe in providing flexibility and choice to our users, allowing you to make the decisions that best align with your needs and objectives.
